Movie Article : The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, motion picture about a group of teenagers who
travel to their grandfather's old house and find it inhabited by an evil
family, loosely based on the true story of serial killer Ed Gein. Released
in 1974, this horror film was directed by Tobe Hooper. Sally (played by
Marilyn Burns) travels into the country with her friends to see if reports
of a cemetery vandalism are referring to her grandfather's tomb. They pick
up a hitchhiker on the way who exhibits clear psychopathic tendencies, and
by the time they eject him from the van he has wounded one of them. Later,
they find the old house, which has gone to ruin. The teens split up and
wander around the area, some heading off to inspect the house. It becomes
apparent that no one that enters the house is leaving, and Sally
investigates. Gruesome terror results.
